Our company has always been a changemaker on the international content creation and transformation market.

We began as a tiny group of technology and computer enthusiasts, previously employed at various research institutions that had been marginalized or become obsolete after the “Star Wars” era and the fall of the Iron Curtain. We participated in some of the first software localizations, realized the amazing potential of the language-technology marriage, and decided to make content-related and IT services our future and, ultimately, our business. We became one of the first companies to focus completely on content and IT services.

Gradually, this tiny collective of two people sitting in an obscure one-room office subleased from a research institution with a 9600bps dial-up Internet line has evolved into an international service and technology company with multiple offices around the world offering the full spectrum of content creation and transformations services, such as eLearning courses and video/trailer creation, content authoring and adaptation, IT solutions (portals, websites, etc.), all types of translation and localization, including game, multimedia and software localization, quality assurance, terminology management, design and graphic services, and much more.



1993 - Company incorporation

2005 - Office opens in Ukraine

2014 - The Quality Triangle hybrid quality approach is first published

This approach lies at the basis of the Logrus IT quality solution. The complete solution includes unique scales for measuring holistic quality as well as pre-defined and custom quality metrics, and a modified issue catalogue based on the MQM.


2016 - Company reorganization

  • Logrus IT emerges after the Logrus reorg in April, 2016, with the new team including:
    • 6 out of 7 Logrus board members, and 3 of 4 Logrus shareholders
    • All regional Logrus offices in China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan


2017 - Office opens in South Korea

  • Office opens in Suwon, South Korea
  • First commercial LQA projects for clients utilizing proprietary hybrid (holistic + atomistic) metrics developed by Logrus IT


2017 - Developed and deployed the Logrus IT Cloud Project Portal

The portal provides an easy-to-use, end-to-end solution for clients who need a web-based continuous translation workflow. The portal allows clients to create projects, upload project source and ancillary files, get automated translation cost estimates, track project progress, download target files when they are ready and generate statistical reports. On the Logrus IT end we do translation, including MT post-editing, review, quality checks, TM management and updates, and file delivery.


2018 - 500 games localized into multiple languages


2019 - Developed and deployed the Logrus IT Language Quality Portal

The portal provides an easy-to-use, end-to-end solution for clients who need a universal, web-based solution and workflow for independent language quality assurance. The portal allows clients to modify or create scalable, 3D, hybrid quality metrics, error typologies, quality evaluation or severity scales, create projects, upload project source and ancillary files, get automated cost estimates, track project progress, view completed review results online or download them, and generate statistical reports. On the Logrus IT end we do both automated and manual 3D quality reviews based on customer- and content type-specific metrics, and file delivery. The portal also supports a complete reconciliation cycle with client and translator participation.
