On April 9-11 the city of Shenzhen hosted the 7th international information technology expo — CITE. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as by the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality.

The expo showcases the latest achievements in the field of information technology, including e-commerce and software development. The main topic of CITE 2019 was as follows: "Development through innovation, commitment to the intelligence of the future".

Many international companies participated in the expo — such as Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Nissan, Dell Technologies, MediaTek.
