The Korean branch of Logrus IT was founded in 2017. Originally, the Korean branch focused primarily on project and account management, but since that time we’ve quickly grown and expanded our localization/LQA, content creation, branding, and online and offline manual and document creation capabilities for our clients in the automotive, medical, consumer electronic, and game industries.

By the end of 2018, it was clear that we needed more space to accommodate our growing team. So one day in December, we packed up our things and got ready for moving day. Since our current office is halfway between Seoul’s business district of Gangnam and some major clients located south of the city, we didn’t want to go too far—we located a new, larger space a mere two buildings away from the old one. Luckily, we already know all the good restaurants in the neighborhood.
Our new location offers us several advantages. One prime advantage is that the Korean office now has a secure, access-restricted room for storing and testing products from clients who require additional security measures. We were also able to expand our writing and digital publishing resources, making us even more agile at creating and localizing technical and marketing material. And of course, we’re enjoying the larger kitchen and meeting facilities, with plenty of space for our team to work and to grow for the future.

Now we’ve begun the first of what will hopefully be many years at our new location. We continue to connect with new clients and meet the needs of our current ones, and have recently expanded our in-office language capabilities to include Korean, English, and Chinese, while continuing to work closely with the rest of the international Logrus IT team on the other 100+ languages we cover.
In 2020, the gesture of a “thumbs-up” resting on an outstretched hand—which means “respect” or “pride” in Korean sign language—became a popular symbol of support for the first responders to the Covid-19 epidemic
